A Touch of Texture
This pattern is designed for the beginner and the advanced weaver. Create an interesting pattern using simple plain weave or for a more advanced project, weave up the version using 2 pick-up sticks to create just a little texture to make a bold statement.
This pattern requires a 20” rigid heddle, a 10 dent reed and 2 pick-up sticks for the pick-up version. The towels are woven with 2/8 cotton, but feel free to try it with cotolin too. I’ve also included some suggestions for variations!
